Walk to Cure Diabetes

We have been learning a lot about diabetes - not only about how to care for Aliza, but also about all the amazing advances and even potential cures for Diabetes Type I that are possible within our lifetimes. Each year the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation sponsors fundraising walks throughout the nation. We will be joining Aliza in walking 3 miles on May 17 in support of research to cure diabetes. She is our team captain and our team name is "Too Sweet to Beat"!
