For winter break this year we decided to really take a break from winter! I got an idea to go see my sweet friend, Kathryn Burbidge and her family in Florida. I have not seen them in a long time and I wanted to see where they are, see the kids and visit the beautiful beaches of Florida. Mike is in his surgery rotation right now so I made up my mind to drive to Florida with the kids! Oh boy..we had some adventures along the way. Overall, we did fine. The kids actually did very well. I kept them stocked with treats and they watched DVD's. Sometimes it was too quiet and I had to phone a friend to stay awake! So here are some pictures of our fun little vacation! A huge thanks to the Burbidges for welcoming us and showing us around. We love you!

On the way back to New York, we stopped in Kentucky at Abraham Lincoln's birthplace. It was so fun to learn more about President Lincoln. I visited this place when I was in third grade. It was great to go back and visit.
