Our little bit of earth

Its planting season again! We have been working along with other families to prepare our plot. Yesterday we were able to plant herbs, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, heirloom and other kinds of tomatoes, broccoli and cauliflower! It has been such a fun learning experience. We have 9 other families in our plot. We all have a little area to plant something to enjoy later. This year H* is in charge of the herb garden. She planted lavender, rosemary, dill, thyme and chives. She has decided she loves gardening. We will see how much she loves weeding! Happy gardening everyone!

Your garden looks great! We're trying out square foot gardening. Hopefully we can keep out the birds. We miss you guys so much.
