November to Remember

Its seems that we have been doing a lot of living and not a lot of blogging. We had to greatest trip to see our families in Utah! There is so much to recap, but here are the main points of interest.

Annie and Josh's wedding! (November 17, 2007). We had fun getting ready for the big day. Annie and I went and got our nails done. We had soo much fun together. I love my sister! Josh's family put on an amazing wedding party the night before at an Italian restaraunt. (Josh served a mission to Italy.) On Saturday we spent the morning getting all gussied (is that a word?) up for the wedding. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in the afternoon. What an amazing experience! We are so happy to have Josh in our family, he is truly perfect for Annie. We took pictures and then a nap and then more pictures!! They had a gorgoeus reception at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The big hit (besides the beautiful bride and groom) were the big candy jars. The girls and I helped my mom fill these giant glass jars with all kinds of yummy chocolate and sweets. It was a big day and very wonderful! Annie and Josh- you rock.

The next week we recovered, Christmas shopped, played with friends and cousins. Our niece, Aubree (3) planned a big sleepover with the girls. She was the last one to sleep! The girls also had a super fun sleepover with Grandma Sherman. They swam in the new city indoor pool with a waterslide and Grandma even took a few rides on the slide. They had a wonderful chance to visit and get reaquainted. Michael and I took the opportunity to go out the an amazing restaraunt. It was way fun!

Thanksgiving. We celebrated with Katie's family on Thursday. We had a incredible dinner and it was refreshing to be home and with our family. We were glad that Grandma Sherman could join us too!

Family pics, Thanksgiving revised, Sherman family party, stomach flu and Hannah's baptism. Whew! Friday was super busy, eventful, spiritual and unforgettable. We are grateful for a wonderful, supportive family that traveled to Hannah's baptism. Hannah had a unique baptism. About 10 AM she started with the stomach flu. She was soo sick all afternoon. She was determined to be baptized even though she couldn't walk or hardly sit up with out getting sick. I carried her in with blankets wrapped around her and her face was white and she was weak. But her spirit was strong and she prayed to be okay. Everything went great and it was quite a spiritual experience for our family. We love you Hannah and are so pleased with your righteous desires and decisions.

Mike flew home, everyone got some form of the stomach flu and we started getting ready to pack up and come home as well. We cried and hated to leave our amazing family and we hope you can come see us soon!!
