Hannah's 8th Birthday!

It's great to be eight!!

Hannah turned eight last week and she had such a fun birthday!! On her birthday, she took M&M cookies to her class. After school we opened exciting presents. Hannah received a new set of scriptures with her named engraved and also a case to hold the scriptures. Also, a "Gabriella" doll from High School Muscial and lots of other fun gifts!! She was so happy to be the birthday girl for a day. Mom made some cupcakes and she blew out her candles on eight of them. Then Mom and Hannah went to a special enrichment night about temples.

On Friday, Hannah and her friends celebrated her birthday day again! One day is never enough!! The theme was SOCCER. Hannah is currently playing soccer and starting to get into the sport. She invited 8 friends and we had the party in our local community room. Everything was black, white and bright pink. The party got underway with pizza, strawberries and pink lemonade...Hannah's favorites. Then we tried to play crab soccer, but that didn't last long so we tried regular soccer. The girls took turns hitting a soccer ball pinata full of Hershey bars (Hannah's fav) and other candy bars. Then we unwrapped presents (WOW-everyone was so nice and generous!). Finally, a soccer cake, of course! Hannah had a great time and loved her birthday!
